UP&DOWN - Bedding Dispenser

The UP&DOWN is a cutting-edge bedding dispensing solution designed to enhance operational efficiency and ergonomics in laboratory animal facilities. Its innovative design features a compact, mobile unit with a flexible working height that exceeds AK-KAB and AAALAC recommendations, ensuring a comfortable and safe working environment for operators.

This system operates on a true plug-and-play basis, requiring only a standard 13amp UK power socket, eliminating the need for compressed air or complex installations. Its compact dimensions (790mm wide x 1310mm long x 1000mm high when fully lowered) allow it to move freely between rooms, making it ideal for facilities with limited space.

The UP&DOWN system is equipped with a unique brush auger mechanism that ensures bedding material is dispensed without grinding, preserving its quality. It offers increased flexibility with a split capacity for two types of bedding, totalling 140L, a 27% increase over the BDS+ model. Additionally, it has the capability to dispense enrichment materials, providing a comprehensive solution for animal housing needs.

Safety and operator protection are paramount in the UP&DOWN system. It features dedicated suction rings coupled with G4 and F7 filtration to protect against allergens during loading and dispensing. Safety sensors are integrated to prevent accidents when lowering the system for filling and transport. The system operates at a low noise level, as it does not require a vacuum pump, contributing to a quieter and more comfortable workspace.
