Experienced Animal Technician
Are you an Experienced Animal Technician looking for the opportunity to join a friendly, professional company?
We are currently looking for a hardworking, immediately available Animal Technician to join our client in London and assist with the day-to-day workload of their BSU.
The primary purpose of this role is to support daily animal husbandry and welfare within our client’s facilities; if you are a license holder, you may also be required to perform regulated procedures.
Your primary role as an Animal Technician will include assisting in the daily husbandry and welfare of animals; you will perform daily routine tasks, such as feeding and watering.
Your primary duties will include:
- Reporting and resolution of any impact on the health of the animals
- Providing food, water and environmental enrichment
- Measuring and recording of body weights, food and water consumption
- Cleaning and sanitisation of all facilities
- Monitoring and general upkeep of all the animal facilities
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in conducting regulated procedures
- A passion for working with animals with 3R’s initiative
- Ability to follow detailed instructions with accuracy and attention to detail
- Must have own transport
