Cardiff Aldasorbers (pack of 6)

The Cardiff Aldasorber is a canister containing activated carbon which adsorbs all organic gases extremely efficiently.

Aldasorber can be used with our Active Scavenging Unit to scavenge anaesthetic gases from the working environment. When exhausted, the Aldasorber is sealed in the bag provided and can be safely disposed of.  Aldasorber can be easily attached to the Active Scavenging Unit.

Developed in the 1970’s at the Cardiff School of Medicine, the Cardiff Aldasorber is widely used in the medical and veterinary markets throughout the World. The filter actively scavenges exhaled and waste anaesthetic gases from the operating theatre environment, thus minimising the effects of long-term exposure to anaesthetic gases.
