DESCRIPTION:This unit will develop skills in influencing and negotiating effectively and understanding of the importance of integrity\, so the learner will be better placed to assert influence to achieve positive outcomes in the workplace and to access resources and support for their department.\n\nFace to Face learning – 29th & 30th June 2026 at the Advance Training Centre.\n\nLearners will be requested before the course to reflect on the ‘negotiation’ they would like to make in the workplace as this will form part of the discussion topics and assignment.\nCourse Details\nDiploma Credits: 15\n\nIAT CPD Credits: 30\n\nTutor: Mark Gardiner\nYou will cover\n\n 	Understanding integrity\n 	Theories of change and how these might apply to exerting influence in the workplace\n 	Negotiation skills\n 	Process\n 	Conflict management\n\nKey Skills you will develop\n\n 	Knowledge and understanding of what constitutes integrity and why it is important to underpin influence\n 	Ability to identify a variety of situations in the workplace where they might need to exert a positive influence\n 	Ability to investigate the characteristics of successful negotiators\n 	Ability to investigate potential problems and describe strategies\n 	Knowledge and understanding of strategies for exerting influence in other workplace situations\n 	Ability to identify how the learning on effective negotiation can be applied to exerting influence in other workplace situations\n\n*Further IAT fees may apply
