DESCRIPTION:The EUROTOX 2025 Congress will take place on 14-17 September 2025\, in Athens\, Greece. \n\n\n\nThe real risks society faces\, render necessary an approach that integrates scientific and technological advances\, ensuring new technologies do not endanger health or the environment. Toxicology must evolve to address these challenges\, developing sustainable solutions for long-term public health. The theme of Eurotox 2025\, “Toxicology addresses Society’s real-life risks for sustainable health and well-being\,” addresses this need.

SUMMARY:Mouse Necropsy and Tissue Processing
DESCRIPTION:This 2-day course provides practical training in how to perform a basic standard mouse necropsy and describe gross observations made during the process. It then covers considerations for the treatment of tissues collected at necropsy\, some of the routinely used solutions and the cutting in of tissues in preparation for histological processing and embedding. \nFollowing the course\, you will be able to: \n\nPerform a basic standard mouse necropsy\nDescribe gross observations at necropsy\nGain an understanding of the rapid ‘emergency’ opening\nSelect suitable tissues for histology and further analysis\nPerform a standard cut-in\n\nWho is this for: \n\nResearchers\nAnimal Technicians\nPhD Students\n\n\nThis training is approved by the Royal Society of Biology. Training course approval is an independent review process that recognises relevant\, high quality training. Upon completion of this course\, attendees can claim 48 CPD points.
